Product & Research Intern

Description

Partner with product and design to explore problem spaces, prototype solutions, and run lightweight user research to inform what we build. You’ll get to design scrappy experiments and see how early product decisions get made.

What you’ll do

• Help define hypotheses and success metrics
• Prototype flows and gather feedback from users
• Plan and run lightweight moderated/unmoderated sessions
• Synthesize findings clearly to guide product decisions
• Collaborate across product, design, and engineering
• Draft discussion guides and surveys; recruit users from our customer base
• Map journeys for key personas and identify friction points to test
• Assist PMs with competitive scans and quick write‑ups

Requirements

• Strong communication and curiosity; structured thinking
• Some exposure to user research or product discovery
• Based in New York City or able to collaborate remotely across US-friendly time zones
• Comfort with ambiguity and iteration
• Experience using Figma, Miro, or survey tools to share ideas
• Enjoys talking to users and turning notes into concise recommendations
