BI Solutions Engineer

Description

Work directly with customers to implement Chartiin. You’ll model metrics, configure access policies, embed analytics, and ensure successful adoption. You’ll be the bridge between product, data engineering, and customer teams, shaping repeatable playbooks for new deployments.

What you’ll do

• Design semantic models and metric definitions
• Set up SSO and row‑level security policies
• Embed dashboards and explorations into customer apps
• Write SQL transformations and validate data quality
• Advise on best practices and drive enablement/training
• Run customer workshops and office hours to accelerate go‑lives
• Document reusable templates and implementation guides
• Partner with Product to relay feedback and influence roadmap
• Triage issues across data, auth, and UI layers with engineering

Requirements

• Experience with data modeling/BI (e.g., warehouses, SQL)
• Hands‑on with SSO/authorization concepts
• Strong communication and customer empathy; solution‑oriented mindset
• Comfort collaborating from our New York City office or remotely across US-friendly time zones
• Ability to create clear docs/runbooks and lead technical workshops
• Bonus: experience embedding analytics or working with product teams on SDKs
